Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental Implant - is an artificial titanium root (part imbedded in jawbone), which serves to replace natural missing tooth. Titanium has a phenomenal ability to engraft in bone tissue, which makes it widely used in prosthetics.

The implanted tooth consists of three parts: the implant itself, the abutment and the crown. The abutment is a transitional element that connects the implant to the crown. The design is extremely convenient because, if necessary, the abutment and crown can be changed, while the implant itself is implanted once and for all. Thus, implantation of teeth is an excellent solution to the problem of teeth absence.
